Market Village, in the heart of Markham’s shopping district, is soon to receive a major makeover. Its existing 325,000 square feet retail space will be knocked down in a few years from now. Out of Market Village will rise the 800,000 square feet Remington Centre – an Asian-themed mall with a 20-storey residential condo tower. But, after enjoying a long day out, you really don’t feel like slaving over a hot stove for hours cooking the same old dish of fried chicken and mashed potatoes. It is greasy and heavy; not fit for summer fair! |

The meaning of success is so often coloured by our personal biases. What is “success”? One might expect a conservative answer from someone like Benny Cheung who is a business owner and the President of the Toronto Chinese Business Association. With a lifetime of accomplishments to cite, Benny instead gave a very humble response that truly reflects her generous nature, “I wouldn’t say that I’m so successful – it’s just that I’m continuing to work towards achieving my goals!”
